Port Calloway · Mayor
Marcus Bell spent 22 years running Port Calloway's transit system. He knows where every bus is late and why. Now he is running for mayor.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 2

Four things, done well, in four years.
Every pothole report answered in 72 hours, with a public map that shows the crews' progress.
2,000 new homes near the waterfront and transit lines, a third of them priced for working families.
More officers walking beats, more lights on dark blocks, and a youth jobs program that runs all year.
Finish the riverwalk from the ferry dock to Fulton Park and keep it free and open.

Marcus started as a bus driver on the Number 9 line at 24. He became the first person to run Port Calloway Transit who had ever driven one of its buses.
Under his leadership the system cut late arrivals by almost a third, added late night service for shift workers, and finished every capital project on budget. He wants City Hall to work the same way.
“Marcus is the only candidate who has ever asked me what time my shift ends.”
“He fixed the 14 bus. My whole block noticed.”
Early voting runs October 23 to 31 at six sites across the city, including the Central Library and the Fulton Park rec center.
