The county votes on the lead pipe replacement bond on November 3.

Clean water for the Three Rivers valley

Every tap in the valley should be safe to drink from.

We are neighbors, nurses, and plumbers who organize, endorse, and vote for one thing: getting the lead out of our water lines.

What we work on

Replace every lead line

A ten year, fully funded replacement schedule in every town, starting with schools and day care centers.

Test and publish

Quarterly testing at the tap, with results posted where residents can find them.

Keep bills fair

No household pays more than two percent of its income for water.

Who we are

Three Rivers Action started in 2019 at a kitchen table, after a second grade classroom tested above the federal lead limit.

We are not part of any political party. We endorse candidates for local and county office who sign our clean water pledge, we knock on doors for them, and we keep score after they win.

Candidates we endorse

Each of them has signed the clean water pledge.

Alma Reyes

County Commission, District 2

Led the push to test every school fountain.

Peter Nwosu

Mayor of Eastbank

Committed to a published replacement schedule in his first 90 days.

Joan Halloran

Water Authority Board

A retired engineer who has read every page of the budget.

“They did not just hand us a flyer. They came back with a plumber.”
Denise Carter, Eastbank resident
