Straight answers to the questions parents ask me.
The questions
Will you raise taxes?
Not without a public hearing and a written list of what the increase pays for. I will vote no on any budget the public has not had a month to read.
What about class sizes?
Kindergarten through second grade first. No class above 22 students in those grades by the end of my term.
Do you support the new high school schedule?
Yes, with one change: survey students and teachers after the first semester and publish what they say.
How will you vote on curriculum?
By reading it first. I will post every curriculum change the board considers, with a link to the materials, before the vote.
What I have done so far

Joined the Hollis Elementary PTA
Ran the book fair for three years.
2022
Started the budget reading group
Twelve parents who read the district budget together every spring.
2024
Asked for evening meeting times
Gathered 800 signatures. The board moved two meetings earlier.
